Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us deliver mentoring programs, workshops, events, and community initiatives that create real and lasting impact. Whether you have lived experience, professional skills, or simply a big heart and a desire to help, your contribution matters. Volunteering Opportunities
Committee Members
Our Committee Members play a vital role in guiding the vision, governance, and growth of Happiness Habits. This volunteer role is ideal for women who are passionate about community impact and want to contribute their skills, experience, and leadership to support our mission. Committee Members help shape strategy, provide oversight, and support decision-making to ensure our programs continue to grow sustainably.
Who this role is for:
Women with experience or interest in governance, leadership, community services, finance, marketing, fundraising, or lived experience advocacy.
Time commitment:
Approximately 1 meeting every 2-3 months or as needed, plus additional support with events & fundraising.
Bunnings BBQ Volunteers
Our Bunnings BBQs are a vital fundraising activity that helps us continue delivering free mentoring and workshops for women. We’re always looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to assist with set-up, cooking, serving, and chatting with the community. These roles are social, flexible, and a great way to support a cause while having fun.
Who this role is for:
Anyone who enjoys working with others, meeting new people, and supporting a great cause — no experience needed.
Time commitment:
Flexible shifts, usually 2–4 hours on BBQ days.
Volunteer Mentors
Volunteer Mentors are at the heart of Happiness Habits. As a mentor, you’ll support women who may be navigating life transitions, rebuilding confidence, or seeking guidance and encouragement. Using lived experience, empathy, and active listening, mentors provide one-on-one support in a safe, empowering way. Full training, resources, and ongoing support are provided.
Who this role is for:
Women who are compassionate, non-judgemental, and ready to support others using lived experience and genuine connection.
Time commitment:
Approximately 1–2 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
